Lonestar Aerobic Services designs residential and commercial septic systems. It’s important for the design to not only meet the legal requirements but also the needs of the household or business the septic system will be serving.
The process starts with a site evaluation, where the well and/or waterlines are located. Next, the soil and soil profile are examined through test holes which must be dug. Then the type of treatment and disposal are determined by soil, amount of area available, and other limiting factors such as trees, children’s play set, etc. Afterward, a location is set for the tank(s) and disposal area.
The system is then drawn up on AutoCAD, along with a write up of the criteria required by the state. Finally all paperwork is turned over to the client or to the regulating authority.
The design process is like a foundation on a house, if it’s not done correctly there will be problems from the start, so be sure to communicate well with the designer.
